As my first day as an intern at GRACE HARDEMAN ELEMENTARY I wore my BCTAL Education and training polo with blue jeans. It was such an amazing feeling to be able to meet my mentor, she got all happy to see me and gave out such a positive vibe. When i first walked in to the room all the 1st grade kids got so excited to see me.
Introducing myself as their intern was pretty simple since they were all good audience.
We started off with the math centers and mrs. Gygi put me with one student who was having trouble focusing, I showed her different ways of solving the equations and I felt pretty satisfyed with her reaction when she could finally solve it herself.
I'm really looking forward to seeing them again and being part of their succcess.
